Bentham Pottery is located in between the villages of Low Bentham and Burton-in-Lonsdale near Ingleton, very close to the Yorkshire Dales and a short drive from the Lake District.

The showroom is open Monday-Saturday 9.00am until 5.00pm. If you are travelling a long way to visit us then please ring to make absolutely sure we will be open.

The following are descriptions of how to get to Bentham Pottery from different directions:

 

From the South, Junction 34 M6 (12.7 miles total)

Take the A683 North Easterly towards Kirkby Lonsdale passing through Caton (2.4 miles) and Claughton (4.8 miles).

Turn right on to the B6480 (6.3 miles) passing through Wray (8 miles) and Wennington (9.7 miles).

After passing through a narrowing of the road, take the second turn left up Ravenclose (steep hill), passing Goodenbergh Caravan Park on the right hand side.

At 4 Lane Ends Junction, (12.2 miles), turn right. Bentham Pottery & Oysterber Farm Cottage Holidays is on the right hand side of the road, (blue and gold signs). If you see a sign on the left hand side for ‘Friends Meeting House’, you have just shot past it, so turn round.

 

From the North, Junction 36 M6 (14.5 miles)

Take the A65 East towards Skipton passing through Lupton (2miles) and then Cowan Bridge (8 miles). Turn right on to the A687 (11.5miles) to Burton in Lonsdale (13.5 miles). Turn left on to local road for 1 mile down a steep hill, over the river bridge and then up a steep hill. Bentham Pottery & Oysterber Farm Cottage Holidays is on the right hand side of the road, (blue and gold signs). If you see a sign on the left hand side for ‘Friends Meeting House’, you have just shot past it, so turn round.

 

From the East, A65 /B6480 Junction (6.8 miles)

Take the B6480 Westerly passing through High Bentham (4.6 miles) and at Low Bentham (6 miles) turn right through the village and up the steep hill. After (about 100 yards) the sign for ‘Friends Meeting House’, Bentham Pottery & Oysterber Farm Cottage Holidays is on the left hand side of the road, (blue and gold signs).
